A new object for OURY. Handwoven willow meets textile through a specially made cotton liner, bringing two forms of craft together in one useful piece. Part of Ordinary Beauty, a collection considering what is worth carrying forward.
Made between Ukraine and Amsterdam
The willow basket is handwoven in Ukraine in partnership with a local maker. In Amsterdam, OURY creates a fitted cotton liner specifically for the basket, bringing textile and basketry together in one everyday object.
